SOUTH SUDAN: Bishop Hiiboro launches the construction of Four classrooms at Abangite College

The Bishop of the Catholic diocese of Tombura Yambio Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala today launches the construction of four classrooms at Bishop Abangite College of science and Technology in Yambio.

Bishop Hiiboro while speaking appreciated the donors for the support for the construction of the building which is a great initiative for the Diocese and the entire people of Gbudue state in terms of education.

The Bishop encouraged all the students of Bishop Abangite College of Science and Technology to learn how to build good relationship among themselves, adding that relationships are very vital to human life.

He appreciated the school administration for the excellent work that they are doing in order to give better services to students.

On his part, Feleis Amoro who is Project Manager for Jesuit Refugees Service or JRS in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio appreciated the bishop for his support, citing that they are committed to their work because the bishop has determination to support education.

Meanwhile Tombura-Yambio Diocese on Monday, April 29 received four partners from Sudan Relief Fund of Washington DC in Tombura State. The partners together with the Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala met the government of Tombura State to discuss collaboration between the Diocese and the Government.

IMG-20190503-WA0058Bishop Hiiboro indicated that this group has been supporting the Diocese in many ways especially Gbudue and Maridi states. He added that bringing them to Tombura State will help support a number of projects that the Diocese is setting up in the West and Mid-West Deaneries which include Education, Health and building churches among others.

The Director for Sudan Relief Fund David Dettoni expresses his excitement to be in Tombura State, saying that they have come to look for ways of how to support the children and youth to get better education.

Sudan Relief Fund has been supporting the Diocese in the peace initiative, construction of schools, teachers training and reconstruction of curia among others.
