ZAMBIA: Archbishop of Lusaka Inaugurates Hostel at Kafue’s St. Ambrose Secondary School

The Metropolitan Archbishop of Lusaka Most Rev. Alick Banda has handed over a new 161-bed hostel at St. Ambrose Secondary School in Kafue District, within the Lusaka Diocese of Zambia.

During the handover ceremony, Archbishop Banda reiterated his dedication to maintaining the school’s esteemed reputation as a leading institution under the Archdiocese of Lusaka (ADL).

“This facility symbolizes more than just bricks and mortar. It represents a sanctuary of aspirations, where dreams are nurtured and futures are shaped,” expressed Bishop Banda, emphasizing the transformative potential of the new dormitory.

He emphasized that the dormitory transcends its physical structure, becoming a beacon of hope and empowerment for the students.

And Christopher Mvula, the school’s headmaster, reflected on the journey that culminated in this significant milestone.

Mr. Mvula has since extended heartfelt gratitude to the community, students, parents, and architects whose steadfast commitment ensured the successful completion of the dormitory project.

The inauguration marks a new chapter in the school’s history, promising enhanced educational experiences and opportunities for the students of St. Ambrose Secondary School.
