AMECEA: Empowers Catholic Media in Zambia and Malawi with Resource Mobilization Training

The city of Lusaka in Zambia is currently playing host for the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa (AMECEA) Resource Mobilisation Training, a 12-day initiative aimed at fortifying the capabilities of Social Communication Coordinators and representatives from Catholic Media Houses across the Episcopal Conferences of Zambia and Malawi.

The comprehensive training program, which focuses on Resource mobilization, seeks to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage and secure resources for their respective media initiatives.

Attendees are expected to gain insights into strategic approaches for fundraising, networking, and sustaining financial support for Catholic media projects.

Participants, including Social Communication Coordinators and representatives from Catholic Media Houses, have converged at the Kasisi Retreat Center from various regions, fostering a collaborative environment for sharing experiences and insights.

The diverse group brings together professionals committed to enhancing the impact of Catholic media in their respective communities.

The training program covers a range of topics, including effective communication strategies, leveraging digital platforms, and building sustainable partnerships.
