ZAMBIA: Archbishop Chama Commends Stakeholders as Apostolic Nuncio Visits Kasama

Most Rev. Ignatius Chama has commended staff working in the Diocesan Curia, clergy in his Archdiocese, Provincial Administration in the Northern Province and stakeholders for playing an active role in the recent five- day Pastoral visit by the Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia and Malawi Archbishop Gianfranco Gallone to the Archdiocese of Kasama.
Archbishop Ignatius Chama says he is thankful to priests, the Religious and the lay faithful in his Archdiocese for welcoming the Apostolic Nuncio when he visited the Archdiocese from Friday the 7th to Tuesday 11th October, 2022.
Archbishop Chama said this when he addressed Christians during his weekly program “Ishiwi Lyakwa Kachema” on Lutanda Radio Station on Wednesday, 12th October, 2022.
Most Rev. Chama has also expressed gratitude to the Provincial Administration in Kasama for providing security in all the places the Nuncio went to during the papal representative’s visit to the Archdiocese of Kasama.
Archbishop Chama who is also the President of the Zambia Conference for Catholic Bishops (ZCCB) has further commended Lutanda Catholic Radio Station for extensively covering Archbishop Gallone’s pastoral visit to the local Church.
During the visit, Archbishop Gallone visited Mary Help of Christians Chilubula Mission, Saint Yves Rosa Parish, Saint Aloysius Gonzaga Lubushi Minor Seminary and Saint Francis Xavier Mbala Pro – Cathedral Parish.
