ETHIOPIA: Children Books Inaugurated

The Child Nurturing and Protection Office of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Ethiopia has published books containing guidelines for strengthening child nurturing and protection.
Launched on March 28 – 29, 2022, the books are translated and adapted from those published by the Episcopal Conference of Kenya in English, now translated into Amharic language.
The books generally contain instructions for teachers, trainers and students; responses to child abuse; and professional ethics.
Participants from all dioceses attended the inaugurating workshop held at the General Secretariat in Addis Ababa to further strengthen child nurturing and protection throughout the country.
