SOUTH SUDAN: Seminarians in Tonj Encourage Young People to Join Seminary

Seminarians of Mapuordit Parish in Tonj of Lakes State, have encouraged young people to join seminary for their spiritual growth in Christ.

Kharlo Kuol, himself a seminarian, told Don Bosco Radio that there is need to train young people on how to join and serve in the Church.

“Parents should allow their children to attend seminary schooling,” he urges.

On his part, Joseph Majak Majok who joined priestly formation in 2017 shares how he started as an altar boy until he became passionate to join seminarian life.

Dominic Ding Kur, another seminarian from the parish, explained the different life he found at the seminary where as an individual, he has learn a lot about the Catholic faith and God while Alfred Lual Deng said, “A seminary is a good place where youths socialize among themselves and promote gospel of the Lord.

The seminarians were speaking during an interview on Don Bosco Radio, on Tuesday December 8, 2020 in Tonj.
