ZAMBIA: Loyola Television Launches Its First News Bulletin

On 9th September 2020, the Feast of St Peter Claver, the Jesuit run Loyola Television in Lusaka launched its first news bulletin.

The launch of the news bulletin brought excitement to the Catholic faithful including sisters. ZAS Chairperson, Sr Sylvia N Kagulura could not hide her joy.

“The launch of the first news bulletin is a quantum leap in the Zambia Church’s communication endeavors. This is a combined effort, coordinated by the director, Fr. Patrick Mulemi, Bravo!

“Every Launch is a significant moment of grace…, while thanking God for all the blessings showered upon the Loyola Television industry, we pray that He may continue to bless and guide every single person in this institution. May the good Lord who communicates to the world through the ‘Word made flesh’ help the Church here in Zambia in every possible way to be a more communicating one in the spreading of Gods’ kingdom values; values of justice, peace, reconciliation, human dignity and love,” said Sr, Sylvia Kagulura in an interview.

Sr. Kagulura commended the team behind the television and its staff members for their dedication and urged them to work in collaboration as they continue with their role of evangelization.
