US: AMECEA delegates visit USCCB

In an effort to further deepen the relationship between AMECEA and United States Conference of Catholics Bishops (USCCB)  three delegates from AMECEA have paid a visit to the Offices of USCCB based in Washington D.C which is expected to last  last for two weeks. 
The delegates from AMECEA are: Very Rev Fr Ferdinand Lugonzo, AMECEA Secretary General, Rev Fr Pius Rutechura, The Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and Rev Fr Chrisantus Ndaga, AMECEA Executive Secretary for Social Communications.
During the visit the delegates will discuss with US Solidarity fund for Africa (a branch under USCCB) a number of issues including the leadership training program which is a result of AMECEA and USCCB partnership that has been in existence for three years.
The AMECEA delegates will start by visiting USCCB offices in Washington D.C and then visit the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) headquarter in Baltimore before heading to NotreDame University for further deliberation.
The visit of AMECEA delegates was organized and coordinated by Mr. Patrick Markey, Executive Director of the USCCB National Collections Office and Mr Fritz Zuger, a consultant with the USCCB solidarity fund  for Africa.
