Fr. Charles<br \/>\nKinyua noted that terrorism, which is usually associated with radical religious<br \/>\nsects, is today showing its face in both political and mainstream religious<br \/>\norganisations, making it difficult to single out individuals who are terrorists<br \/>\nas Christians are also getting into it.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nFr. Kinyua said terrorism is on the<br \/>\nrise because certain groups are seeking identity as they feel isolated from<br \/>\nmainstream society, noting that the groups are seeking to correct perceived<br \/>\ninjustices and do not care about the mode of correcting them.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nAt the same time, Fr. Kinyua urged<br \/>\nparents to guide their children on the use of the internet, adding that the<br \/>\ninternet can be dangerous and a source of destructive information. \u201cAs parents,<br \/>\nyou should accompany your children while they are using the internet,\u201d said Fr.<br \/>\nKinyua adding that \u201cIf we can\u2019t eliminate terrorism, we can reduce it through<br \/>\nvarious forums that address injustices\u201d.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nFr. Kinyua warned religious leaders<br \/>\nagainst using religion as a way of seeking justice, saying there is need to<br \/>\n\u2018nurture tolerance and cultural understanding\u2019.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nThe Kenya Christian Professionals<br \/>\nForum (KCPF) is a group of young Christian professionals from various<br \/>\ndenominations sharing common values on issues of family, life, religious<br \/>\nfreedom and social justice.
