The Tanzania Episcopal Conference, (TEC) Caritas department has launched an
\nElectrification Project in collaboration with the Rural Electrification Agency
\n(REA) to the village of Endashang\u2019wet in Karatu district.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n <\/div>\n
\nThe launch was held recently in Dar es Salaam in TEC, Caritas offices,  in which Caritas Tanzania entered into a
\ncontract  with Njarita Company
\nContractors Ltd of Dar es Salaam to distribute electricity in the village.<\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\nAccording to the Executive Secretary of Caritas Tanzania Mr . Joachim Wangabo,
\nwho represented the Caritas and Tanzania Episcopal Conference to sign the
\nagreement, said that the project aims at raising the standard of living of the
\nvillagers who are majority of them, marginalized.<\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\n

Mr. Wangabo said the total cost of the project is USD 155 Million and that it will
\nhelp improve the water supply project funded by Caritas Australia.<\/p><\/div>\n

\nThe Company Director Mr Michael Njarita assured Caritas Tanzania that will
\nfinish the work within the terms of the contract.<\/div>\n
