The event took place at the Cathedral of the Child Jesus on Saturday, 2nd February 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking during the occasion, Archbishop of Lusaka Most Rev. Alick Banda urged the Religious to emulate Christ who was poor, chaste and obedient. \u201cThe Feast which is being celebrated in the Year of Mission calls on the Consecrated Men and Women to recognize the Lord in their duties just as those two Biblical elderly devout Jews, Anna and Simeon, were able to recognize the baby Jesus when he was presented in the Temple,\u201d said he.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_8128\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-8128\" style=\"width: 320px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-8128\" src=\"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ZCCB2.jpg\" alt=\"A section of Participants during the celebrations in Lusaka\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ZCCB2.jpg 320w, https:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ZCCB2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-8128\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">A section of Participants during the celebrations in Lusaka<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Archbishop Banda also challenged the Religious Men and Women to put aside any power struggles and personal agenda but rather focus on service to God and his people. \u201cIn our daily tasks, we tend to be incapable of recognizing the Lord because we are often occupied with other things than our Consecrated life. As a result, our Prayer life, Community life and the living of Evangelical Counsels suffer,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe forget that our mission is to serve God.
