\nAMECEA
\nSecretariat has organized a Planning Retreat for its staff members that took place in
\nNyeri Town, Central Kenya from 17th \u2013 20th November, 2014.  <\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\nAccording to Fr.
\nFerdinand Lugonzo, AMECEA Secretary General, the meeting was an important
\nopportunity for staff to come together and plan for secretariat activities for
\nthe year 2014-2015.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe staff
\nplanning retreat is usually held in June at the end of AMECEA Secretariat
\nfinancial year. However, this year it was delayed because of the preparations
\nand the actual events of the 18th AMECEA Plenary Assembly, which was
\nheld July in Malawi.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMost of the activities planned were based on the resolutions of the 18th AMECEA Plenary Assembly. It
\nis on these resolutions that form the basis of AMECEA Secretariat activities for the next four years
\nwhich are usually carried out in collaboration with the national conferences
\nwithin the region.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nApart from
\nmeeting and planning for the activities of the year ahead, the secretariat
\nstaff also took the opportunity to evaluate the performance of the secretariat activities for the previous year.<\/div>\n
