\nA. Kibira of Kasese Diocese, Uganda has said that the gift and blessings of
\nmarriage and family life cannot be taken away by the challenges that many
\nmarriages and families face in today\u2019s life.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Bishop said
\nthis in his homily when he led the Eucharistic Celebrations on Friday 28th
\nwith the delegates of the conference to revive the Council of the Laity in
\nEastern Africa (COLEA) whose theme isMarriage and Family Life and the Future of
\nthe Church and Society<\/i><\/b>which is going on in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cDespite the
\nfact that in today\u2019s society, marriage and family life is threatened by so many
\nchallenges, yet the special blessing that comes with the sacrament of marriage,
\nthe gift of marriage and family life cannot be taken away because of that,\u201d he
\nsaid adding that \u201cI therefore urge you to emulate Jesus Christ, to look for Him
\nand make Him the center of your marriages and family.\u201d<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Bishop
\nsaid that many couples often fail to realize that Christ is a special bond that
\nbinds\/unite marriages and families and the strength of that bond depends on how
\nthey base their faith and trust on Him. \u201cMany couples turn to other things when
\nchallenges arise in marriages and families and fail completely to turn to Christ,
\nthis shouldn\u2019t be the case,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nHe advised
\nthat Christ should be the center of every marriage and family life and that He
\nis the solution to all problems that exist in marriages.<\/a><\/div>\n
