margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/DSC0375-1024x680.jpg\" height=\"212\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td class=\"tr-caption\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Vice President (in Black Suit) together with Bishops after <\/em><br \/>\n<em>the celebration <\/em><em>of Holy Mass<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nSpeaking during Holy Mass H.E Polycarp Cardinal Pengo,<br \/>\nthe Achbishop of Dar es salaam who was the main celebrant, congratulated the faithful<br \/>\nof Kondoa for building such a magnificent Cathedral.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nCardinal Pengo said that before the dedication of the Cathedral,<br \/>\nthe building could be changed for another use other than being a place for<br \/>\nworship, but after the dedication the building is set specifically for this purpose-<br \/>\nto be the House of God \u2013House of Prayer. \u201cContrary to that is committing sacrilege,\u201d<br \/>\nhe said.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/BenandVP.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/BenandVP.jpg\" height=\"158\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Cardinal Pengo asked the faithful of Kondoa to equate the<br \/>\nbeauty of the Cathedral with their call to sanctity. \u201cYou are called to be salt<br \/>\nand light of the society here in Kondoa; like the early Christians you should<br \/>\nbecome the catalyst and bring holiness to your community, and be a model to the<br \/>\npeople around you,\u201d he said adding that &#8220;Just as the<br \/>\nearly Christian who met at graveyards to pray, the places which were considered<br \/>\nas unclean; these Christians sanctified those places\/environment<br \/>\nwhich others felt that they<br \/>\nwere unclean.&#8221;<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Also speaking at the event, Most Rev Jude<br \/>\nThadeus Ruwai\u2019chi of the Archdiocese of Mwanza,<br \/>\non behalf of the President of Tanzania<br \/>\nEpiscopal Conference (TEC) Rt Rev Tarcisio Ngalalekumtwa, congratulated the faithful of the Kondoa to committing<br \/>\nthemselves to that noble work of the construction of the<br \/>\nHoly spirit Cathedral. \u201cMay I ask you to keep it as the \u2018House of God\u2019 and a<br \/>\nplace of prayer,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Mapadre-1024x680.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/Mapadre-1024x680.jpg\" height=\"212\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Speaking on behalf of the government, the Vice President<br \/>\nof the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Mohamed<br \/>\nGharib Bilal, hailed<br \/>\nthe Diocese Kondoa for the good<br \/>\nwork and provision of better services to the people of Tanzania. \u201cThe Catholic Church has been<br \/>\nat the forefront in providing quality<br \/>\nservices in the<br \/>\nhealth sector, education, water and general social development<br \/>\nof the people,\u201d he said.<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>Dr Bilal strongly warned all those who want to breach peace in the country. \u201cIn<br \/>\nthe recent days there has been \u2018red lights\u2019 propelled by some people in the country,\u201d<br \/>\nhe said adding that \u201c I want to assure you that &nbsp;the government will never allow any person or<br \/>\npersons, for whatever reason, to violate the peaceful co-existence &nbsp;that has been there for years in the country.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>In his concluding remarks, the Bishop of Kondoa, Rt Rev<br \/>\nBernadini Mfumbusa commended the sacrifice of the faithful of Kondoa, (both from within and outside the diocese) that enabled<br \/>\nthem to complete the construction of their Cathedral.
