Human Right
\ngroups in South Sudan have urged the President of the United State of America,
\nHis Excellency Barack Obama to support the arms embargo to the Country because
\nmore weapons mean more fuel to the fire, more attacks on civilians, arbitrary
\nkillings, rape, burnings and pillage.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n <\/div>\n
\n<\/a><\/div>\n
\nAccording to
\nthe Secretariat team leader at the South Sudan Action Network on Small Arms,
\nGeoffrey Duke, President Obama should ensure that 2015 is not a repeat of
\nhorrific of 2013 and 2014 for South Sudanese.<\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\nHe urged
\nPresident Obama to support a comprehensive United Nations arms embargo on South
\nSudan\u2019s conflicting parties.<\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\nThe leader
\nlamented that the conflict looks set to continue, and the organizations are
\nconcerned that further crimes under international law and serious human rights
\nviolations and abuses are likely to continue.<\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n
\nNon-Governmental
\norganizations were calling for an arms embargo on South Sudan since early 2014.<\/div>\n
