\nAlarming reports of starvation, acute
\nmalnutrition and catastrophe levels of food insecurity are worse in hard hit
\nconflict affected areas, says the Food and Agriculture Organisation, FAO in a
\nstatement.<\/div>\n

\n\u201cA bleak forecast\u201d for the rest of the year
\nindicates rapid reduction of food supplies likely to worsen food prices, the UN
\nexperts warn.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cFood insecurity has spread to areas previously
\nconsidered relatively stable, highlighting the cumulative impact of conflict,
\neconomic downturn and climactic shocks,\u201d FAO declares.<\/div>\n

\nFAO adds that continuous fighting in parts of
\nEquatoria puts the upcoming agricultural season at risk with alarming potential
\nto impact on food security all over South Sudan.<\/div>\n

\nMeanwhile,<\/b> hundreds of citizens in Western Equatoria\u2019s Yambio town on Easter Monday
\nrode bicycles to demonstrate the search for peace and development in the
\ncountry.<\/div>\n

\nto Fr. Gamboripai William Abbassi, the Youth Chaplain of Tombura-Yambio
\nCatholic Diocese, the bicycle ride enlightens public to cultivate the culture
\nof peace, the statement which was supported by State Acting Governor.<\/div>\n

\nHiiboro said that young people should love sports and do something practical
\nfor peace.<\/div>\n
