This was<br \/>\nconfirmed by CWO National Chairlady Ms. Bernadette Chiwaya.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\nAccording to Chiwaya, the conference which will officially be<br \/>\nopened by Eucharistic Celebrations at Civo Stadium on Wednesday 31st<br \/>\nAugust will be hosted under the theme &#8220;<i>Women<br \/>\nof Africa Proclaimers of God&#8217;s Mercy&#8221; Come and see a man who told me<br \/>\neverything I did could this be the Messiah taken from the book of John 4:29<\/i>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n\u201cThere are other equally important topics to be discussed during<br \/>\nthe conference among them include; hope in action in the service of the family,<br \/>\nyouth and the suffering in Africa; the phenomenon of street women and children as<br \/>\nwell as human trafficking in Africa and WUCWO women of Africa in the light of<br \/>\nEvangelical Gaulderma of Pope Francis,\u201d said Chiwaya adding that the closing<br \/>\nMass will be at the venue of the conference- Bingu International Conference<br \/>\nCentre (BICC) in Lilongwe on Sunday, September 5.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\nShe said the conference is also aimed at promoting the presence,<br \/>\nparticipation and co-responsibility of Catholic women in society and Church, in<br \/>\norder to enable them to fulfill their mission of evangelization and work for<br \/>\nhuman development.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\nApart from that, Chiwaya said the conference will also look at an<br \/>\nAfrican woman as agent of change and development, dialogue, peace and justice:<br \/>\na key to a stable and prosperous Africa; access to safe drinking water and<br \/>\nsanitation is a human right: look at the situation in Africa; Climate Change;<br \/>\nand youth and their contribution to and or benefit from evangelical work,<br \/>\npeace, justice and equitable sustainable development.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n\u201cThere are lots of benefits from this conference and this ranges<br \/>\nfrom an international exposure, learning from other international organizations<br \/>\nhence share experience and at the same time many Malawian women will have an<br \/>\nopportunity to learn more about World Union of Catholic Women Organisation,\u201d<br \/>\nsaid Chiwaya.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<i>Meanwhile,<\/i> Chairperson for the Publicity<br \/>\nCommittee for the conference, Prudence Kadiwa said resource mobilization and<br \/>\nfundraising activities have been lined up so as to host a successful<br \/>\nconference.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0.0001pt; text-align: justify;\">\n\u201cFor instance, every Catholic woman will contribute money through<br \/>\nSmall Christian Communities. The laity themselves in all the parishes will also<br \/>\ncontribute.
