Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has urged Christians to make sacrifices for the salvation and well-being of one another as they wait for the celebration of Christ&#8217;s death and resurrection.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Kibira described Holy Week as the center of the liturgical year and a &#8220;time of grace and compassion&#8221; to accompany Jesus in his passion, death, and resurrection. He urges believers to open their hearts and embrace humility by taking up their daily crosses and bringing the joy of faith to those who suffer.<\/p>\n<p>In his homily while presiding over Holy Mass at Our Lady of Assumption Kasese Cathedral Church, Bishop Kibira called on Christians, ahead of Holy Week, to reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for the salvation of all on the cross by contributing to the well-being of others. He also asked parents and guardians to make sacrifices for their families.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop Kibira, who returned earlier this week from Rome alongside other bishops from Uganda after a week-long Ad Limina visit, said that during this time, he presented petitions for all Christians and brought back blessings from the Holy Father to all believers in the Diocese of Kasese<strong>.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rev. Fr. Joachim Kihembo, the Chaplain of St. John Paul II Spiritual Home in the Diocese of Kasese, called on married couples to love their spouses by promoting reconciliation and forgiveness aimed at peaceful living in preparation for the suffering, death, and resurrection of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>In Mass at St. Johns-Kisanga Roman Catholic Church in Kasese parish, Rev. Fr.
