A key focus of his presentation was the “Final Document” of the Synod, which outlines the Church’s global vision for communion, participation, and mission.

Father Misrak detailed the fundamental identity of a Synodal Church, the practical steps required to foster a collaborative environment, and the unique responsibility of every baptized Christian in the life of the Church.

Participants engaged in group discussions, tailoring the synodal concepts to the specific cultural and pastoral context of Harar. They expressed a renewed readiness to implement these values within their respective ministries.

As the workshop concluded, Rev. Father Amanuel Bassa, the Pastoral Coordinator of the Vicariate, extended his gratitude to the facilitators and organizers. He reminded the attendees that the journey toward a Synodal Church begins with personal transformation.

“Change starts with the self,” Father Amanuel remarked. “It requires the cooperation of everyone, characterized by sincerity, determination, and a spirit of self-giving service.”

The program officially closed with a prayer led by Rev.
