Leonard Namuhumba, congratulated learners progressing to Grade 10 and Form One in both Catholic and Government schools, attributing their success to hard work and commitment.

Fr. Namuhumba has urged learners to take their studies seriously, respect school rules, and grow in discipline and responsibility, describing education as a valuable gift.

He has also thanked teachers and support staff for their continued dedication to the academic, moral, and spiritual formation of learners.

Fr. Namuhumba called on parents and guardians to actively support their children, reminding them that they are the primary educators.

He has further appealed for high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in schools to prevent disease outbreaks, noting that it is good that the school calendar has opened without a postponement this year, which is usually the result of a cholera outbreak.

Fr.
