Prefect of the Congregation for the Congregation for the Evangelization of People at the Vatican in Italy, H.E Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle has urged Catholic Christians in the world to have unconditional love for creation made by God.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the official opening Mass of the 20th Plenary Assembly at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar Salaam-Tanzania on Sunday, 10th<\/sup> July, 2022 Cardinal Tagle urged all Catholics in the world to love the amazing works of God through His creation.<\/p>\n

Cardinal Tagle urged that Christians must have the spirit of caring towards one another and for all the living things that God has created.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to ask ourselves why is it that caring is less these days? For those people that are married, when you see your husband or wife, do you see the image of God or something else?\u201d wondered Cardinal Tagle.<\/p>\n

And Cardinal Tagle has urged the 20th AMECEA Assembly delegates to address the root cause of the environmental phenomenon brought by environmental degradation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to discuss the root cause of the environmental degradation to have concrete resolutions after the Assembly otherwise we will have cosmetics resolutions from the assembly\u201d Cardinal Tagle said. \"\"<\/p>\n

Meanwhile the Apostolic Nuncio for Kenya and Sudan Most Rev. Hubertus Matheus Maria van Megen has commended the AMECEA membership for its co-existence between Catholics from the region.<\/p>\n

The Nuncio cited the use of local languages for prayers during holy mass as a sign of co-existing among members in the AMECEA region.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe only missed Arabic during the prayers, that is the language spoken in South Sudan where I am coming from,\u201d said Nuncio Maria van Megen<\/p>\n

The 20th Plenary of the AMECEA in Tanzania- Dar Salaam will be deliberating on the delicate matter of \u2018Care for our common home\u2019 stipulated in Pope Francis’s teaching on Laudato si.<\/p>\n

The Plenary has been officially opened under the theme \u201cEnvironmental Impact on Integral Human Development\u201d.<\/p>\n

The 10-day Assembly in Dar Salaam will share more on the Care of the Earth and Laudato si, Faith, Values, and Ethics in the Care for the environment, Care for the integral Ecology: Church and Government Collaborations just to list some.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
