\nThe Catholic
\nBishops of Ethiopia have strategized on using radio as one of the means of communications to
\nraise awareness on works of charity and forgiveness to the society as part of
\nthe implementation plans of the year of Mercy in the country.<\/div>\n

Fr. Seyoum Fransua<\/i><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
\nAccording to
\nFr. Seyoum Fransua, the ECS Deputy Secretary General; ECS is sponsoring some
\nradio programs that will instill and promote works and the idea of Mercy to the
\nminds of the people on the widely heard radio stations in the country. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Deputy
\nSecretary General said that the ECS took the opportunity of Christmas
\ncelebration in the country to communicate the Holy Father\u2019s call for the Acts
\nof Mercy to the people of Ethiopia. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cSome of the
\nprograms sponsored include the promotion of the Catholic Social teachings by inviting
\npeople to join the church in the care of our common home as they were
\ncelebrating Christmas,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe program on
\npromotion of the Catholic Social Teaching of the Church is sponsored by the \u2018Aid
\nto the Church in Need\u2019 a donor agency on which a bigger audience have
\nbenefited through various means of communications.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nFr. Seyoum said
\nthat the dissemination of the message of Mercy was targeting not only to
\nCatholics but to all people of good will as well. \u201cThe implementation of the
\nJubilee Year of Mercy in all the Dioceses is among the priorities of the Church
\nin Ethiopia in this year,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n
