\nHis
\nHoliness, Pope Francis has on 23 December 2015 appointed, Rev. Fr. Justin
\nMulenga, of Kasama Archdiocese as Bishop of Mpika Diocese.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nFr.
\nMulenga was ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Kasama on 18th July 1993. He
\nholds a Diploma in Accountancy (Evelyn Hone College), studies in Philosophy and
\nTheology (Rome). <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nFr.
\nMulenga has served in many parishes as an Assistant Parish Priest (Lwena,
\nKapatu) and as Parish Priest (Cathedral of St. John Kasama, Mbala). He has also
\nserved as Episcopal Vicar for the Religious and Treasurer General of the
\nArchdiocese of Kasama. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nUntil
\nthe time of the appointment the Bishop -elect was the Parish Priest in Lwena.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe
\nseat fell vacant following the appointment of Most Rev. Ignatius Chama as
\nArchbishop of Kasama on January 12, 2012. At the same time the Archbishop was
\nnamed as the Apostolic Administrator of Mpika.<\/div>\n
