{"id":13180,"date":"2021-09-10T17:18:32","date_gmt":"2021-09-10T17:18:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/?p=13180"},"modified":"2021-09-10T17:18:32","modified_gmt":"2021-09-10T17:18:32","slug":"amecea-you-are-anchor-of-pastoral-solidarity-amecea-chairmans-jubilee-message-to-archbishop-nyaisonga","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/index.php\/2021\/09\/10\/amecea-you-are-anchor-of-pastoral-solidarity-amecea-chairmans-jubilee-message-to-archbishop-nyaisonga\/","title":{"rendered":"AMECEA: \u201cYou are Anchor of Pastoral Solidarity,\u201d AMECEA Chairman\u2019s Jubilee Message to Archbishop Nyaisonga"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Sr. Jecinter Antoinette Okoth, FSSA<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chairman of the Association of Member Episcopal Conferences in Eastern Africa (AMECEA) has on behalf of the Prelates in the region sent congratulatory message to Archbishop Gervas Nyaisonga of Tanzania\u2019s Mbeya Archdiocese prior to the celebration at diocesan level of his silver jubilee of priestly ordination this Sunday September 12, 2021, describing him an \u201canchor of pastoral solidarity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In his message shared with <em>AMECEA online<\/em> on Thursday September 9, Bishop Charles Sampa Kasonde acknowledged Archbishop Nyaisonga as a member of AMECEA saying, \u201cYou became a recognized anchor of pastoral solidarity in the region, more especially when you became the Chairman of your Conference in June 2018.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cYour active participation in the 19th plenary assembly that took place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and your readiness, on behalf of your Conference, to accept to be the host of the next plenary assembly is a vivid sign of how you promote the spirit of unity and solidarity,\u201d Bishop Kasonde of Zambia\u2019s Solwezi Diocese expressed his observation, referencing Archbishop Nyaisonga\u2019s active participation in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on his spirit of solidarity, Bishop Kasonde noted with gratefulness Archbishop Nyaisonga\u2019s acceptance to avail his priest Fr.
