The main objective for the annual event is to bring together the whole CUEA community to celebrate its cultural diversity under the theme \u201cExploring the Fun in Cultural Multiplicity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Celebrations with different discussions and activities were also held under various sub-themes including mental wellness, sports and games, fun, African history and cultural awareness.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11750\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11750\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11750\" src=\"http:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Senator-Ledama-is-welcomed-to-the-University-by-some-of-the-Student-leaders-led-by-the-President-David-Wipa-in-Godfather-cap.-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" srcset=\"https:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Senator-Ledama-is-welcomed-to-the-University-by-some-of-the-Student-leaders-led-by-the-President-David-Wipa-in-Godfather-cap.-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/communications.amecea.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Senator-Ledama-is-welcomed-to-the-University-by-some-of-the-Student-leaders-led-by-the-President-David-Wipa-in-Godfather-cap..jpg 414w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11750\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong>Senator Ledama is welcomed to the University<\/strong><\/em><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em><strong>by a section of Student leaders led by the President, David Wipa (in Godfather cap).<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On the day of the climax, different groups, individuals, and nations made cultural presentations including spoken word and dance. The Kalenjin dancers were crowned winners at the event followed by South Sudan with the Maasai dancers coming third.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chief Guest at the event the Narok Senator, Hon. Ledama Ole Kina who is frequently seen adorning his Maasai cultural regalia even at the Senate saluted the University, which has students and staff from over 30 countries, for the Cultural showcase. He challenged the youth to live within their means noting that embracing even cultural wear is a simple and cost-effective way to dress.He further urged the students to stand up as good ambassadors for their cultures, communities and be voices for the kind of society that they desired to live in.
