\nUniversity of South Sudan campus in Wau has resumed lectures after few days of
\nstrike. Vice Chancellor, Fr. Mathew Pagan, said that student\u2019s demands were contained,
\nRadio Bakhita reported.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cEconomic
\ncrisis have come and bites everybody, we need also to increase the fees in
\norder to cope up with the situation,\u201d he explained.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Vice
\nChancellor disclosed that the problem of insufficient lecturers was a general
\nissue on which the university was looking for possible ways of resolving the
\nsituation.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cThe issue
\nwill be resolved, they are not big problems, they are just internal problems,\u201d
\nFr. Pagan explained in a telephone interview adding that \u201cYou have all the
\nrights of expressing your demands but this should not interfere other people\u2019s
\nrights.\u201d<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Vice
\nChancellor was responding to students\u2019 recent strike in Wau against increment
\nof fees.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMeanwhile,<\/i> the Catholic Radio Network (CRN)
\nis training Anisa Radio Journalists in Yambio on professional news writing.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nCRN media
\ntrainer Ilona Eveleens, during the first session said that people trust journalists
\nonly when they perform their duties responsibly. She urged the journalists to
\ncross-check their sources of information and balance the stories. She also
\nchallenged media personnel to do their work very well.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nAccording to
\nFr Elario Bazia Zambakari, the Director of Anisa Radio, the training aimed at building
\nthe capacity of the staff, as he pledged that his administration will
\nfrequently organize similar trainings.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nCRN Director
\nEnrica Valentini also made her first visit to the station. She explained that it
\nis her responsibility to go on the ground to understand what people are doing.<\/div>\n
