Fr. Ferdinand Lugonzo, Secretary General<br \/>\nof AMECEA, has urged the Secretariat staff to work in unity and cohesion and to<br \/>\navoid divisions and segmentation among Secretariat Departments.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fr Lugonzo was<br \/>\naddressing staff on the final day of staff annual retreat and planning meeting which<br \/>\nwas held in Nakuru County from 25th to 29th January 2016.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\u201cFor the sake of prosperity and productivity,<br \/>\nwe cannot afford not working together in unity and cohesion as divisions and segmentation among the Secretariat Departments do not promote family,<br \/>\nbrotherhood and solidarity which are core values of AMECEA,\u201d Fr Lugonzo said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nWhile thanking the staff for the commitments<br \/>\nshown in their various capacities during last year, he also acknowledged the<br \/>\nchallenges the secretariat has been facing due to limited finances, which put a<br \/>\nlot of strain in the secretariat.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n\u201cThe Secretariat will continue to experience<br \/>\nfinancial strains due to the ambitious project of the construction of AMECEA<br \/>\nCommercial Complex, which we have embarked on; I, therefore, request for your<br \/>\nunderstanding and collaborations,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nHe urged the staff to embrace working within<br \/>\nthe Secretariat structures and policies as well as maintaining the high<br \/>\nstandards of service delivery as they have demonstrated in the past. He also<br \/>\nencouraged them to improve on the internal communications through effective<br \/>\nflows and regular update of information.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nOnce again he welcomed the new members of<br \/>\nAMECEA Staff who were attending the staff retreat and planning for the first<br \/>\ntime.
