\n<\/a>Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Lugonzo, Secretary General
\nof AMECEA, has urged the Secretariat staff to work in unity and cohesion and to
\navoid divisions and segmentation among Secretariat Departments. <\/p>\n

Fr Lugonzo was
\naddressing staff on the final day of staff annual retreat and planning meeting which
\nwas held in Nakuru County from 25th to 29th January 2016.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cFor the sake of prosperity and productivity,
\nwe cannot afford not working together in unity and cohesion as divisions and segmentation among the Secretariat Departments do not promote family,
\nbrotherhood and solidarity which are core values of AMECEA,\u201d Fr Lugonzo said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\nWhile thanking the staff for the commitments
\nshown in their various capacities during last year, he also acknowledged the
\nchallenges the secretariat has been facing due to limited finances, which put a
\nlot of strain in the secretariat.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\u201cThe Secretariat will continue to experience
\nfinancial strains due to the ambitious project of the construction of AMECEA
\nCommercial Complex, which we have embarked on; I, therefore, request for your
\nunderstanding and collaborations,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nHe urged the staff to embrace working within
\nthe Secretariat structures and policies as well as maintaining the high
\nstandards of service delivery as they have demonstrated in the past. He also
\nencouraged them to improve on the internal communications through effective
\nflows and regular update of information.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nOnce again he welcomed the new members of
\nAMECEA Staff who were attending the staff retreat and planning for the first
\ntime. These included Mr. Antony Mbandi, Coordinator of AMECEA Justice Peace and
\nCaritas Department; Sr. Tabitha Wambui Nyawira, ASN, who is the Program Officer
\nat AMECEA Justice Peace and Caritas Department and Mr. Bernard Mberere,
\nICT Officer of the secretariat under Social Communications Department.<\/div>\n
