\nThe Vice President of Sudan Catholic Bishops Conference (SCBC) Rt Rev Erkolano Lodu Tombe has warned that assigning uncommitted priests to the seminary would do more harm than good.    <\/div>\n
\n
\nAccording to reports aired by Radio Easter the Catholic Bishops in
\ntheir meeting last month in Rome, Italy encouraged putting only committed spiritual
\nteachers to the seminary because the uncommitted ones would be a waste of resources. <\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nBishop Lodu
\nadded that the Conference also stressed on the need to provide refresher trainings
\nto the local priests and sisters for better service.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Vice
\nPresident encourages priests and sisters to continue serving God\u2019s people and
\nthe church in South Sudan and Sudan despite challenges.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nMeanwhile
\nthe Auxiliary Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Juba cautioned South
\nSudanese against the rampant killings in the country.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nBishop Santo
\nLoku Pio wondered why South Sudanese as brothers and sisters of the same country
\ntake up guns to destroy their own villages, Radio Bakhita reports.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nBe reminded
\nthat it is not good and it is unacceptable, Bishop Loku said.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe Bishop
\nsaid that those who committed atrocities against their brothers and sisters are
\nalready guilty and condemned. He noted that killing each other has no gain and that people should think twice before
\ncommitting any act of violence.<\/div>\n
