A new partnership has been established between Luntha TV of Malawi and Lumen TV of Zambia to enhance Catholic media programming.

The collaboration was sealed during a meeting held on January 15th, 2025, at Lumen TV Studios in Lusaka, Zambia.

Fr. Arthur Ntembula the Director of Lumen TV and Fr. David Niwagaba the Director of Luntha TV led the discussions which highlighted the mutual benefits of the partnership.

Lumen TV’s Programs Manager, Mr. Sydney Mwamainda, also underscored the importance of this collaboration for the growth of the two media organizations and their shared mission to advance evangelization.

As part of the agreement, Luntha TV will begin airing two programs: “My Catholic Faith,” produced by Lumen TV, and “Pilgrims of Hope,” a collaborative production by Lumen TV and Radio Maria Zambia.

This initiative aligns with the directives of the Sub-Regional Conference of the Association of Catholic Bishops Conferences of Malawi, Zambia, and Zimbabwe (ACBC-MAZAZI), which advocates for closer collaboration among Catholic media platforms in the region.
