Bishop of the Diocese of Zomba, Rt. Rev. Alfred Chaima has urged Children in the diocese to be obedient to their parents as he dined with them.

Speaking during a luncheon held at Bishop’s residents last week, Bishop Chaima urged children to have good characters that help them to be responsible for the citizens.

“Be exemplary right from your own families by being docile and obedient to your parents” urged Bishop Chaima.

The Prelate then encouraged children to remain in school as that is the only way for them to prepare for a better future.

Bishop Chaima further encouraged the children to be God-fearing as the beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord.

“Develop an admirable character now so that you become models of others in future” added Bishop Chaima.

Over 50 children were special guests visited Bishop’s house in the diocese of Zomba upon receiving special invitation from the prelate.

During their visit, the prelate interacted with the children for over an hour before they were served to a warm meal which the prelate shared with the children.

After the meal the children and the bishop continued to interact while dancing to some favourite tunes of music. It was an afternoon that will stick in the minds of the children as some of the kids applauded Bishop Chaima for being so closest to them.
