By Chibesa Majawa
Chipata Diocese Pastoral Coordinator Fr. Moses Merdado Ndlobvu in Zambia has called on Christians to embrace selfless leadership, prioritizing serving others over personal gain.
Speaking during Mass at St. Kizito Out Station of St. Mathias Mulumba Parish, Fr. Ndlobvu emphasized that true leaders make a positive impact in their own lives and the lives of those they serve.
He said that most people fight for positions due to personal interests.
Fr. Ndlobvu said leaders should strive to serve others, not themselves.
The pastoral coordinator challenged Christians to reflect on their motivations and actions in various sectors, including church leadership.
He said Leaders must humble themselves and prioritize serving others,” he stressed.
The pastoral coordinator has encouraged Christians to re-evaluate their approach to leadership and pray for political leaders.
