Caritas Chipata Director, Rev. Fr. Bernard Kaluba Zulu, has challenged newly commissioned members of the ecclesial association known in the diocese as Catholic Men’s League to dedicate themselves to fulfilling God’s will.

Speaking during the commissioning Mass of 24 new members at Mchini St. Atanazio Parish, Fr. Zulu emphasized the importance of emulating the virtues of St. Joseph, the patron saint, especially in loving and caring for their families.

Fr. Kaluba urged the new members of the association to seek truth from God and allow His word to transform their lives, shaping their character and promoting self-reflection.

He reminded the faithful to avoid speaking ill of others, acknowledging that everyone is a sinner in need of grace.

Additionally, Fr. Kaluba encouraged the congregation to prioritize spiritual wealth over material possessions, stressing that all is vanity in the eyes of God.

The priest also highlighted the importance of sharing with the less fortunate, particularly the poor, street children, and those in need.

He cautioned that wealth acquired dishonestly makes one a sinner before God, urging the need for confession to reconcile with Him.

Fr. Kaluba has since congratulated the new members, saying the commissioning marks a significant milestone in the parish’s efforts to promote spiritual growth and community service.
