By Meckias Banda

Chipata Diocese Auxiliary Bishop Gabriel Msipu Phiri has reminded the faithful that God’s love remains unwavering despite the challenges faced by His people.

Bishop Msipu made these remarks during a requiem Mass held in honor of the late Sister Rosemary Chama, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka after battling cancer.

The Bishop emphasized the importance of persevering in faith and trusting in God, especially during difficult times.

“Challenges are part of our journey, but we must not lose hope and faith. Instead, we must continue to trust in God’s love and providence,” he said.

Bishop Msipu also called for unity and a spirit of togetherness among Christians, stressing that these values are essential for overcoming life’s obstacles.

The requiem Mass was an opportunity for the faithful to come together and celebrate the life of Sister Chama, while also finding solace and strength in their shared faith.

Bishop Msipu’s message serves as a reminder to all Christians to remain steadfast in their faith and to support one another during times of hardship.
