During Eucharistic celebration at St. Anne’s Cathedral Parish in Chipata Diocese, Fr. Adrian Matebesi, a Salesian of Don Bosco priest, has challenged Christians to take personal responsibility in addressing the country’s problems rather than waiting for one person to effect change.

Father Matebesi emphasized that combating corruption is a collective duty, and urged parishioners to make conscious Christian decisions to refrain from contributing to corrupt practices.

He stressed that the well-being of Zambia is a shared responsibility, benefiting all citizens, not just those in positions of power or wealth.

Fr Matebesi’s sermon emphasized the importance of individual actions in creating a more just and equitable society.

He encouraged Christians to recognize their role in shaping the nation’s future and to work together toward positive change.
