Chipata diocese pastoral coordinator, Fr Moses Ndhlovu, has urged Christians to embrace humility.

Speaking in his homily at MIC Center Chapel, Fr. Ndhlovu stressed that humility is a vital virtue for entering the Kingdom of God, echoing the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Fr Ndhlovu highlighted the importance of living a humble life, citing it as a crucial aspect of Christian values.

He encouraged the congregation to reflect on their actions and strive to embody humility in their daily lives.

Fr Ndhlovu also invoked the intercession of Saint Maximilian Kolbe.

He prayed that Christians would be inspired by St. Kolbe’s example and act on the word of God, just as the saint did during his lifetime.

St. Maximilian Kolbe, a Polish Catholic priest, is revered for his selfless act of sacrificing his life to save a fellow prisoner during World War II.

His extraordinary display of humility and courage serves as a powerful reminder to Christians of the importance of living a life of service and compassion.

Fr Ndhlovu’s message serves as a timely reminder to the Christian community in Chipata and beyond to cultivate humility and act on their faith with courage and conviction.
