UGANDA: Support Education System in your Areas of Jurisdiction, Bishop Kibira Tells NGO’s, FBO’s

Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale, the Ordinary of the Diocese of Kasese, has commended Ripple Foundation and her partner Sei So Frei, an Austrian charity organization, for supporting the education system and general welfare of the local population in Kasese District.

In his speech shortly after presiding over Holy Mass where he confirmed more than 649 Christians in the Catholic Church, Bishop Kibira who asked parents to prioritize education, commended Ripple Foundation, her Executive Director, Ms Florence Ithungu and her partners for giving shape to schools by building classrooms among other contributions.

According to records, Ripple Foundation have by last week constructed classrooms at over 17 primary schools in Kasese district.

Bishop Kibira who also opened a Eucharistic Center at St. Joseph Kisolholho Catholic Church, asked parents and guardians to protect their legacy by educating their children, have faith in the Lord and invest in meaningful social capital.

Bishop Kibira used 14TH July 2024 Sunday Gospel where Christ sent his disciples in pairs; to remind Christians of their role to be witnesses of God’s work, love and help one another where need be.

Bishop Kibira who later described parents and guardians as family Apostles of Christ, asked them to be exemplary teachers back home mainly to guide their families.

Over 13 million shillings was collected for the new Cathedral construction.
