The institution, named after the revered second Indigenous Archbishop of Lusaka, Adrian Mung’andu, is a testament to his legacy of educational reforms and unwavering dedication to the youth.

The event that started with Mass celebrated by the Archbishop of Lusaka, Most Rev. Dr. Alick Banda, was graced by the Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia and Malawi, His Excellency Gian Luca Perici.

Every 25th of June in the Archdiocese of Lusaka, Adrian Mung’andu Day stands as a poignant reminder of his indelible impact—a day to commemorate his memorial and celebrate the spirit of education that continues to thrive.
