“We are here to witness today the value and respect our Catholic Church gives to a mother and this is a proof for itself that a mother is the teacher of all societies” said Fr. Quazien tracing back to the book of Genesis that God Himself said, ‘It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suited to him” (Gn.2:18).
“What kind of a mother do we call wise?” he asked the audience and then he summarized the qualities of a wise woman. Fr. Quazien highlighted the main points that a wise mother should have and said “Wise mother is the one who knows and accepts the resources available and is satisfied with it, the one who listens by heart, who responds from her heart, who shares her resources, who learns from experience, who is self-confident, who has the spirit of dialogue, encouraging and correcting spirit.”
Finally, he reminded the mothers that the beauty of a mother is not in wearing new branded clothes. “Wearing unbranded and cheap clothes doesn’t mean you are poor” he mentioned this quote and concluded his presentation.
