Twenty (20) men have been commissioned to launch the Catholic Men’s League at Immaculate Conception Parish in Luanshya , Zambia.

The Parish Priest, Fr. Kayombo Mukosayi, presided over Mass where the new men’s league members promised to contribute to the well-being of the Church’s Evangelisation Mission.

In his homily on the fifth Sunday of Easter, Fr. Kayombo implored Catholic men to fully participate in the life of the Church.

He said there is a need for the men to be active in Small Christian Communities and in lay groups.

“Where are the men in the Church? Most of the time, when we go to Small Christian Communities or Lay Groups, the majority of the members are Women. Men should actively participate in the activities of the Church. One example is to identify yourself with the Small Christian Community and the Lay Groups,” Fr. Kayombo said.
