ZAMBIA: Dominican Sisters in Zambia Celebrate 100 Years of Missionary Presence with Pilgrimage

The Dominican Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Zambia have embarked on a pilgrimage as part of their Centenary celebration.
The Dominican Sisters, who came to Zambia in 1924, started the pilgrimage last Thursday at Kasisi Mission in Lusaka, the place where the Dominican Sisters had their first Convent from 1924 to 1929.
The Sisters further visited Kabwe’s Mpunde Mission, Caritas School, and Stephen Lwisha School, among other places.
The pilgrimage was concluded today with a visit to Kansenshi cemetery in Ndola, where two Dominican sisters are buried.
The Dominican Sisters are currently serving in Mufulira, Kalulushi, Ndola, Mansa, Mpika, Kasama, and Lusaka.
