His Eminence Michael Cardinal Czerny is urging young people in South Sudan to recognize the fact that their own education and their development is their first primary responsibility.
Cardinal Czerny says, even if the opportunities are few, it doesn’t mean that young people should give up in educating themselves and prepare to make real contribution to the society.
“The most important thing I think for the young of this Country is to accept the fact, to recognize the fact that their own live, their own education and their own development is first and primarily their own. In another wards even if opportunities are few, the difficulties are great, the facilities are poor, that doesn’t mean young should give up educating themselves and preparing themselves to make a real contribution to their society.”
The prefect for the Dicastery of Integral Human Development at the Vatican adds that, to react with violence is to betray once country.
Cardinal challenges the young people of South Sudan to take the future into their hands and make the first central step in preparing themselves to contribute to the Country.
“So I would there not only encourage, but challenge the young people to take the future into their hands and make the first central step which is to prepare themselves to contribute to the society.”
Cardinal Michael narrates that his visit to South Sudan is to experience a better or more hopeful South Sudan than what they have on media in the North and West Europe.
I’m happy to go back and tell Pope Francis that the beginning of Peace pilgrimage that he brought to South Sudan have started yelling its fruits, “Says Czerny.”
“The Holy Father was here a year ago, on a pilgrimage of peace, and he would want to hear what the pilgrimage of peace has produced, a fruits that it’s brining. And I’m happy to go back and say that there are beginning of fruits.”
The head of the prefect for the Dicastery of Integral Human Development at the Vatican narrated that peace had come back to South Sudan, although it’s still on the way.
“Off course what I would like to say that, peace had come back, but even peace is still on its way, it’s very consoling to wideness so many efforts towards peace. Development effort, Humanitarian effort, Education effort Religious effort, and this is the impression that I will take back with me from South Sudan.”
