The Ordinary Diocese of Kasese his Lordship Rt. Rev. Francis Aquirinus Kibira Kambale has urged believers in Christ to live with strong faith, hope and love which he described as the ladder to life everlasting.

Bishop Kibira on Tuesday, November 1, on the feast of all Saints Day confirmed over one thousand confirmands at Nyakahya parish the biggest number in a single day in the History of the Diocese of Kasese and in his life as Bishop.

Nyakahya parish comprising seven sub-parishes combined effort with St. Michael Kyabikere shrine.

Addressing believers shortly after Mass, the Ordinary of Kasese His Lordship Bishop Kibira was surprised by the effort and unity between the lay faithful and the clergy which has registered a number of development projects at  Nyakahya Parish including, beautification and renovation of the church, extending the Fathers quarters and other projects in just one and half years.

In his homily, Bishop Kibira who said as a pilgrimage church they should live a sainthood life on earth through loving one another, living with strong faith and hope, argued Christians to make good use of All Souls Day celebrated today by praying for the departed souls in the families.

The Prelate used the same plat forming announcing the official opening day of Nyakahya Parish as early next year asking the parish administration to continue with team work.

His Lordship promised to donate a bull to young church movements members as the parish celebrate official opening slated early next year.

Bishop Kibira applauded the Parish administration for proper financial management and value for money, saying he was touched following the formation of a SACCO out of daily mass collections, asking believers in Christ to work hard and defend their faith through practical teachings of the good news of Jesus Christ.

The Kasese Diocesan Treasurer, Rev. Fr. Joseph Kule Syathetha asked Christians to remain in the mother church, saying despite the developments made at the Parish many are still wanting.

The Parish Priest Nyakahya Parish, Rev. Fr. Joseph Tumusiime described the youth apostolate like other church movements as young people who are committed to their church that have actively contributed towards the development at the Parish.

Mr. Tito Mukonzo Muhanuka the area chief hailed the Bishop for fulfilling the vision of his great Daddy and Fr. John Balyebuga by sending and appointing young committed priests in his area whom he said have contributed much to the spiritual and social-economic development in the area.

During Mass, the Bishop was assisted by Fr. Godwin Kibaba Curate Nyakahya, Fr. Julius Bwambale and Fr. Kihembo from Kabuyiri shrine among, Fr. Joseph Kule Syathetha, the diocesan Treasurer, among others
