SOUTH SUDAN: “Stop killing Innocent people in cold blood for peace to prevail” Catholic Prelate of Yei Diocese urged the leaders

The Catholic Bishop Yei catholic diocese is urging the Leaders of South Sudan to stop rampant issues of killing innocent People and work for peace to prevail in the Country.
Bishop Alex Lodiong Sakor urged the leaders after the incident nine people killed by armed men in Juba two months ago.
Lodiong also regretted the loss of three Young men murdered by identified individuals found in their garden early this year.
The catholic prelate stated that for peace to prevail in South Sudan, killing of innocent people in cold blood must stop.
He said if the politicians want to total peace in the Country they should not focus on the extension of transitional period only, but the killing must stop.
“If our politicians want to peace, not only extension of transitional period. If we want to peace in this Country we should stop one thing which is killing of people, killing of people should stop. That is one of the things that will bring peace, but if they are saying extension of transition period has been two years and yet people are dying everyday peace will not come. People should raise their concern of the issues of killing innocent people because these days people are been killed in a cold blood.”
He called on the people of South Sudan to stand firm and discourage the issue of killing innocent.
Those who continue killing torture and robbery are against peace in South Sudan “Bishop Lodiong added.”
He appealed to the politicians and people carrying arms to motivate violence that cause blood shed to stop and call for dialogue with one another.
He specified that the people of South Sudan and the country does not need conflict but change to peace and reconciliation.
He stressed that the actions of the south Sudanese can make God to punish the whole nation.
“Anyone who doesn’t want to peace, people who keep on killing others, people who are robbing others are anti-peace. If you are one of those people please go out from this Country, because this Country doesn’t like war anymore and if you don’t want God will take you out of this Country so that you and stay in the Country that need war.”
The Bishop prefer dialogue among the people of South Sudan has one of the best way to solve their grievances has one people.
“If anyone have something in his or her heart should stand behind the table and dialogue together because killing people will not bring peace. If you are carrying weapons, you are security personal, you are politician don’t exercise your politics with the blood of the innocent because those whom they are killing everyday have their relatives and their hearts is paining, their blood is crying to God and you are here eating enough because you killed someone.”
He worn those doing such acts to be careful otherwise one day God will count on South Sudanese.
