MALAWI: Catholic University’s Vice-Chancellor Applauds Female Students’ Excellence

The Vice-Chancellor of the Catholic University of Malawi, Rev. Fr. Dr. George Buleya has applauded female students from the Catholic University for their outstanding performances in the second semester for the 2021 academic year.
Speaking during General Assembly for the weekend and part-time students at the University’s Main Campus, Fr. Buleya commended female students for working extra hard for their colourful performances in the recent end-of-semester exams written.
“I would like to commend female students for their outstanding performances in the exams for the last academic year. We have all witnessed that a lot of female students are the ones who have walked in front for passing from marginal distinctions than male students” said Fr. Buleya.
The Vice-Chancellor further commended all continuing weekend students of the University for passing their exams for the 2022 academic year at the University saying the Catholic University of Malawi does only allow students who are performing very well to continue with their studies at the University.
The Vice-Chancellor added that the University will be striving to maintain standards of quality education through the provision of the necessary materials to students and lecturers.
Established in 2006, the Catholic University of Malawi has maintained a track record of being the Private University of choice to many citizens in the country. The University has since given the weekend and part-time students cash prizes for their outstanding performances as a way of motiving them to continue working hard.
The University offers some programmes only available at the institution in the country. Among them are the Diploma in Adult Education and Development (AED), Bachelors of Education Like Skills, and Special Needs.
