UGANDA: Bishop of Kasese Hails Oblate Sisters of Assumption for Focusing on Child Education

The future of the Church depends on the way children are brought up, the Ordinary of the Catholic Diocese of Kasese Bishop Francis Aquirinus Kibira has said.

Presiding over a speech during perpetual profession for the Oblate Rev. Sr. Evelyn Kamuli in Kihyo Village, Buhuhira Sub County in Kasese district, Bishop Kibira Kambale said it is only if parents bring up disciplined children and encourage them to join Church movements that will guarantee the future of the Church.

Bishop Kibira hailed the Religious under the Oblate Sister of Assumption for their focused plans on education, and asked parents and guardians to prioritize education which he said was the future development base for their children.

The Buhuhira Sub county local council three Chairperson, Mr. Edson Musalha particularly hailed the Oblate Sister of Assumption for Emmanuel D’Alzon Lavagnace Complex high school which he said has benefited the community.

Emmanuel D’Alzon Lavagnace Complex High School is one of the first projects of the Oblate Sister of Assumption which has improved the quality education in the sub county.

Mr. Edson Musalha also asked parents to guide their children on matters discipline if they were to excel in education.
