SOUTH SUDAN: Citizens Expect Peaceful Christmas Across South Sudan
Speaking to Radio Don Bosco, the citizens of Tonj State expect peace during the festive seasons to show Christ’s love who was born to save sinners.
The citizens add that Christmas is a time to show love to one another as people of one South Sudan.
They say celebrating it peacefully is a sign that everybody is ready for peace in the country.
Speaking to the Don Bosco Radio, Denis Deng Deng one of the citizens advises people not to cause problems against their fellow citizens.
“Christmas time is not time to create insecurity to the people but it is time to be with your friends and your family, happy, therefore as citizens of South Sudan I expect peace to prevail in the country during the Season.”
Cirillo Chol Akook expects everybody to be peace mediators across the country. He calls on South Sudanese leaders to bring lasting peace to stop unnecessary loss of lives. They were speaking to Don Bosco Radio on Wednesday in Tonj.
