SOUTH SUDAN: No Ebola Virus Diseases in South Sudan, Says Medical Doctor

There is no Ebola virus as yet in South Sudan and the community should not panic when seeing anyone bleeding, Rumbek State Hospital Medical Director Dr. Abraham Maker Mangar has told the people through Good News Radio.

The Medical Director says South Sudan can fight Ebola because it is equipped with medicines and mechanisms to rule out the deadly disease in the young nation.

He has however stresses that people should quickly go to access health services quickly at the available facilities for any health conditions.

Meanwhile South Sudan is also prepared to fight the virus as training and arrangements for war against Ebola are under way.

Dr. Abraham Maker Mangar has shared this with Good News Radio at Rumbek State Hospital on Tuesday, August 13.
