CUEA: New Chancellor and Vice Chancellor Installed

The Catholic University of Eastern Africa CUEA on Thursday, October 18, 2018 witnessed the Installation of the Seventh Chancellor and the Eighth Vice Chancellor of the Institution. The Colourful ceremony took place at the University’s Main Campus in Nairobi during the thanksgiving Mass for the 37th Graduation Ceremony.
Both the New Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor were elected and appointed respectively at the AMECEA 19th Plenary Assembly in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in July 2018. The New CUEA Chancellor who is also the Chairman of AMECEA is the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Solwezi, Zambia.
The Vice Chancellor Rev. Prof Stephen Mbugua is a priest from the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru. Prior to his appointment, Rev. Prof Mbugua was the Vice Chancellor Designate at Tangaza University College.
