ZAMBIA: ZCCB President Urges Catholic University Graduands to Be Honest Employees

Rt. Rev. George Lungu, ZCCB President

President of the Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB) Rt. Rev. George Lungu has implored Zambia Catholic University graduates to be truthful and sincere when they are employed.

Rt. Rev. Lungu said that even when they may be perceived as an enemy because of being a contradiction and a challenge to others in doing things right, Catholic University graduates should do their best at any given workplace and earn a living from their sweat.

He said this in his homily during the graduation Mass which he presided in Kalulushi, Copperbelt Province, for Zambia Catholic University’s 2018 graduation.

This 7th graduation ceremony of the University was celebrated under the theme ‘Integrity and Service’ and it coincided with the Institution’s 10th Anniversary.

Bishop Lungu has also commended Government for what he termed positive programmes that have contributed to the improvement of the educational sector in Zambia.

He said that Government has done well to construct technical boarding secondary schools specially for girls in rural Zambia.

The ZCCB President further appealed to Government for a loan facility scheme to the Zambia Catholic University.
