SOUTH SUDAN: Bishop Paride publishes 45 words for South Sudanese to attain Peace

The Emeritus Bishop the Catholic Diocese of Torit Rt. Rev. Paride Taban recently published forty-five words in an endeavour to help South Sudanese realize peace in the Country that is if the leaders can adopt and follow them to the latter.
Bishop Paride outlines, Love, patience, compassion, sympathy, kindness, truthfulness and forgiveness among others, as a solution to the endless conflicts experienced in South Sudan and consequently ensures that peace prevails in the World’s youngest nation.
He believes that, by taking the forty-five words into action, all the guns will be return to the store or will be replaced by hoes and the tankers for fighting will be turned into tractors for cultivation.
Meanwhile, General Secretary of South Sudan Council of Churches Rev. Fr. James Oyet called on the political leaders to change their hearts and minds so as to let peace prevail in South Sudan adding that, the blood of those who died for the sake of the nation should not go in vein.
Oyet observed that, the people of South Sudan are tired of war and they need peace to enable the displaced, asylum seekers and the refugees in other countries to go back to their mother land.
